01How a project starts
A project begins when scope, deliverables, timeline and fees are agreed in writing and any deposit is paid. Estimates given in early conversations are not commitments.
02Scope and changes
Work outside the agreed scope is a change request. We will tell you the effect on cost and timeline before doing it, and you decide whether to go ahead.
03Your input
Timelines depend on you supplying content, feedback and decisions on time. Delays on your side move delivery dates.
04Delivery and acceptance
We will tell you when a deliverable is ready for review. Report defects against the agreed scope within the review period in the agreement; we will fix them at no extra charge. Use of a deliverable in production is treated as acceptance.
05Third-party components
Projects may use open-source libraries and third-party services, each under its own licence and terms. We will identify significant ones on request.
06Confidentiality
We treat non-public information you share with us as confidential and use it only to deliver the work.
07Support after launch
Support and maintenance are separate services agreed in writing. Without such an agreement, post-launch requests are handled as new work.
08Ending a project
Either party may end a project as the agreement provides. Fees for work performed to that date remain payable.
